Amanda Caryl Fink is a Chicago-based actor and educator. On stage, she has recently had the pleasure of working with Court Theatre, Sideshow Theatre Company, Stage Left, The Greenhouse, and First Floor Theater, where she is a co-founder and company member. In early 2019, she was named one of the Fifty People Who Really Perform for Chicago in Newcity Stage for her work with FFT.
Amanda recently assumed ownership of Black Box Acting alongside Eric Gerard and Andrew Cutler. Amanda has made her home at Black Box for the better part of a decade, beginning as a student in The STUDIO, then training in The ACADEMY, and completing her teacher training in 2017. She now holds the title of Creative Director at Black Box (though she’ll still be in the classroom as much as possible.)
Originally from Los Angeles, Amanda relocated to Chicago to attend the University of Chicago. She holds degrees in Theater and Performance Studies and English Language and Literature from UChicago.
Amanda is very passionate about good bourbon, The Los Angeles Dodgers, live music, and never turning down an invitation to travel somewhere new.
Amanda can work as a local hire in Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago.
